The little things add up!

Well I felt today was a frugal success. A great first step!

My first coupon train envelope arrived! I signed up a few weeks ago, and I was sooo excited when it arrived today. It was full of many great coupons. I removed nearly twenty and replaced them with nearly 40 others (I don't eat many processed foods etc) as well as some good deals that I can't use like a $50 IRIS GC that arrived in the mail. Maybe someone else could really use that down the line.
Anyways I already saved $8 today using those coupons!

I also recieved a small check for doing a survey which I deposited in my savings.

And zellers has %90 off of all their remaining christmas items. I got 5 boxes of cards for .80cents each! I am sooooo glad I had not bought any when they were only %50 off.
And I bought 10 gorgeous candle holders for .20 cents each. They will make lovely additions for gift baskets next Christmas. I also bought a 2010 T-shirt and yoga dryfit shirt for my daughter for $2 each and a really cute turtleneck for $2 for me.
