Grocery deals, points and charity

It was payday so it was my "big" grocery shopping day. I spent 80.21 at Save-on-foods and 29.34 at Safeway and 9.93 at McGavins Bread Outlet. This supplied enough food for the next week plus many staples for my begining pantry stockpile. Any additional shopping trips during the next week will be for dairy, fruit and vegetables. And because I am trying to build a pantry stockpile any really GOOD additional deals.
I kept the above prices low by cashing in a $5 credit at the bread store. If you spend $50 you get $5 off. It is cumulative and you get a stamp on your card for every $10 you spend. I also got 1100 save on points, and used $8 in coupons.
AND I gave a donation to the childrens hospital (incuded in my save-on total). I felt with all my savings I certainly could afford to be charitable. I love to be able to give and do so almost every day in some form or the other.

The really great grocery deals I got were-
$3.99 large pizzas (I bought 4 to put in the freezer for those I am too rushed to cook days)
$1.50 yogurts (they were astro and $2.50 each and I had $1 off coupons, I bought 5, great healthy snacks)
Oranges at .58 a pound, they are soooo good at time of year
Potatoes at $1.49 per 5 pounds ( I had a store coupon, I bought 10 pounds)
Pesto sauce on sale for $3.50 each. That is my splurge! I LOVE PESTO! I LOVVVVEEEEE PESTO!!!! Ok, Ok I love pesto.
Anyways I bought lots of the other stuff too, milk, eggs, ground beef, fruit, vegies etc...
