Be the Change
I am thinking about writing a book documenting "ordinary" people in the Lower Mainland who are doing extraordinary things, making changes in their personal/business/communities that will make a difference to global warming, environmental degradation, building human connections. I am busy working, raising a son (now 14), and all the things of day-to-day life. However, I feel that we need more stories of hope and fewer stories of gloom and doom. Every day I meet someone (it seems) who is making a change in their life or the lives of their community and I think these stories need to be told. Not sure exactly what form this book will take. I have written (and been published) on a variety of subjects, but feel like there isn't exactly a book like this out there (sort of a book form of this website, I guess) and I'm looking for feedback, support, thoughts, on what anyone thinks of this idea.
