Other than the sideshow about B.C. Rail, we’re fast approaching the predictable standoff whereby Gordon Campbell’s Liberals position themselves as strong on economic growth and the only safe hands on the economy, while demonizing Carole James’s New Democrats as spendthrift reds under the bed.
