What is cuisine kids?

Written by Daddeo

What is cuisine kids? and why did I start it? simple really, as a Dad, a parent, a role model I try to teach my kids things that will provide them a solid base for when they get older. Life lessons. Sure you can't teach them everything and somethings need to be left for them to discover on their own.

Cuisine kids is a about some of the things I remember fondly while I was growing up, like gardening. It's also about the quality time I share and spend with my kids. It's a bond, a closeness, a passion. things we do together as a family. It's things I would hope other families might look at and think it would be a cool thing to do with their kids. The website is simply a medium in which to share.

We all lead a very different lifestyle then our parents did. Time is short, your always on the go. Some of the things I try to post are things that can bring you together as a family. Like sitting down for dinner. We all try but it's not always easy.

You see I'm a child of divorced parents, I don't remember ever having two parents in the same house. Two years ago was the first time I had ever had both parents at the Christmas table. I went through just as much as they did through a bitter divorce without truly understanding it. I still carry a lot of that with me but I swore I would never put my kids through what I went through, I want them to have a better, stable life growing up. A place to call home.

Cuisine kids is part of that desire to give my kids something better, it a place to share idea's that we do and enjoy. It's about developing life skills, from growing food and sharing the time playing in the dirt and getting dirty, to cooking them. Pure and simple it's about having fun too.

I hope this gives you an idea behind my resolution - Food for the soul - making a difference for kids and I hope you will support us and vote? all of this is out of my personal pocket, there are no grants, no advertising dollars, no big company backers or anything supporting this except me. Why? because the kids our are future and they are worth every penny.
