A profound choice 60 000 times a day

Researchers seem to agree that we have about 60000 thoughts. One estimate is that 80% of these are negative.

As I talked about WGWT with folks today, I asked them if it took more energy, or time to focus and share what has gone well. One senior said, "We sometimes don't have enough time to find the positive.'

I wonder about the connection between focusing on the negative and the 'need' or habit of using meds.

As we continue to work with spreading a sense of empathy, we have remarkable exchanges and connections with strangers and friends.
