Successes of WGWT

Here are some recent successes in spreading this meme. Jian Ghomeshi read a letter on CBC's ! I sent to him after the rescue of the Chilean miners.. about the need to focus on What's Gone Well Today.. That caused a lot of folks from across Canada to come to the blog .. on a continuing basis. An article on small talk in the local paper was passed to me. I checked out the expert they'd referenced, joined his blog and left some info about WGWT. We are now getting traffic from around the world.. About 1000 views a day. I set up my banner at UVic the other day and got some interesting video and conversations. Here's an example of the shift of thinking from someone who's an advocate for change with a large NGO
Here's an example of the immediate shift in attitude when someone uses WGWT as a filter in looking at the world.

Haultain Common and a Permaculture Workshop

Hello, Dear All. We are Margot Johnston and Rainey Hopewell, birth mothers of the Haultain Common. The Common is a neighbourhood-supported public food garden on public land, where all may harvest. Victoria's boulevards belong to everyone. They're part of the vast energy of life-supporting forces, held traditionally in public ownership, for the good of all life on Earth. If you'd like more information about The Common, you can contact us at 250-380-5055, or hope-of-rain@islandnet.com. You may also join our email list, which we use soley to share information about the Common: opportunities for planting and playing, what's ripe right now and what's coming up. Peace with Earth, and see you on the Common! Love from Rainey and Margot
