Try out Change Everything

We just renewed our building lease and negotiated $100,000 to be spent on energy efficiency. Now we are trying to figure out where to start. We are in a glass building and have already treated the windows. I'd love to hear ideas.

wow! that is a great little snippet of your story. i would love to read more about the process you went through to make it happen - i bet you would inspire others to undertake a similar project for their buildings.
BC Hydro has a pretty darn comprehensive Power Smart Program going for businesses  I am willing to bet there would be some good ideas for you in there.
looking forward to reading more from you as things unfold...

1. Changing to energy

Written by Kevork (not verified)

1. Changing to energy efficient lighting with motion sensers best bang for the buck.
2. Having air conditioning and heating system timers checked to operate only when needed. Upgrade to computer contolls vs. manual.
3. Make sure all office equipment is turned off after hours of use.

GOOD LUCK
