Cycle from Vancouver to Tijuana for Microcredit in 2008

Written by cgwu

Join 20 young people in 2008 as they pedal from Vancouver, B.C. to Tijuana, Mexico to raise funds and awareness about how microcredit can help entrepreneurs in the developing world lift THEMSELVES out of poverty.

Last year I challenged myself physically and mentally to create change in the world. It was a life altering experience and I invite you to cycle next year.

Want to make a positive impact on the world? Interested in cycling the Pacific Coast?

"A short but intensely powerful experience, a sharp reminder of what this was all about, the perfect wrap-up to a challenging journey of personal growth, and something none of us will soon forget.”

Hi Kate,

The ride takes about 7 weeks, leaving plenty of time for engaging with communities, spreading awareness, and a few adventures! We have footage from the 2007 trip, and a documentary in the works eventually for sure.

I'm actually in San Francisco right now for a few days working with two of the trip leaders, planning and organizing the 2008 tour - spread the word, we hope to have it filled by November or so :)

Cheers,

Shawn Smith
