Europe, here I come!
So I have come to the decision that I am going to be going to Europe in September of this year for 3 WHOLE months all by myself! It’s something I have wanted to do my whole life and I am finally going to do it! The past month I have been looking into it and seeing if my money situation would allow it to happen and it looks like it’s a go! It all started when I wanted to go for the month of September to visit my friend Candice in the UK where she is staying with her dad for 6 months but then turned into, if I’m going to go, I’m going to go all out! So it is not going to be from about September 12th to December 12th, days may vary but that’s the general plan. Today I was going over where I want to go and how much I need to save and I was doing money calculations on how much I will have in the next little while the book a plain ticket and then will I be able to save enough before I go and things are looking great. I will be going by myself because I find I work better alone on these kinds of things and I want to kind of do my own soul searching sort of. I have three friends who will be over in Europe at the same time as myself so I wont be all alone. Candice will be on the Isle of Wight living with her dad, Sarah will be in Ankara for three months teaching English and living with a friend there and Laura is supposed to be living in Switzerland with her longtime boyfriend. So my plan so far is, land in Glasgow, head up to Inverness, tour around Scotland, back down to Manchester, Liverpool, London for a quick meet up with Candice then take the under water rail to France, go to Paris, Milan, Venice, Florence, Vatican City, Rome, Athens, the go over to Ankara in Turkey and this will be my 2 month mark and hang with Sarah for a bit, charter a flight to the bottom of Croatia and take a tour bus up the coast because I have been told it’s beautiful, head over to Switzerland to chill with Laura for a bit, up to Amsterdam, Belgium then back in the under water rail over to London where I will meet up again with Candice and see London and then once I am broke chill at Candice’s dads place and fly out of London, if not I can always bus back up to Glasgow and fly out of there. So that is my plan so far. I think if I can save up around $5000 for 3 months I should be good because I am great and making friends and finding good deals, plus the most expensive place (the UK) I have somewhere and free to stay to cut costs. So that’s my plan and I can’t wait to do it! It has always been my life dream to tour around Europe and now I am going to be able to, I can’t wait! Until next post, Calan.
