Hello,
I'm an Aussie girl that is moving to Vancouver this month. I've always been an avid biker, and I would love to get involved in making biking more accessible in my new city.
I'm arriving in Vancouver later this week and will be spending the first few days zipping around town looking at apartments to rent. If anyone has a bike that they can lend me for a few days (August 21st - 23rd) to make me move a little faster, could you please consider me? I can return the bike to you right after I've found a place. Thanks for considering me!

I would suggest getting a bus pass. If not familar with the area it would take longer to look at maps and navigate traffic. What are you going to be doing there? I may know of areas to look at. I have spent some time there and do miss the coast. I am working in Saskatchewan right now, a long way from the coast.
